Some free advice on how to register inventions

If you have inventions (or think you have invented something) then the best free general advice that we can give you is to not tell anyone about the detail of it until you have carefully considered what your first steps should be on how to best take advice.

Keep your inventions secret at this stage.

NOTE - ©DateIt  - is not an agency to register a patent for inventions.

General advice on the first steps to take on how to register inventions.

The first steps are in the gathering of general information relating to registering for a patent for your inventions. You should look at your own country's methods of how to go about obtaining or registering a patent since they may vary from country to country.

If then you wish to register or patent your inventions then you need to go to your nearest Patent Office and follow their advice on how to make a patent application. It is a time consuming process and can cost a lot of money.

If, after you have explored this route of patent application and decided that it is not for you, then you might consider

  1. Giving up on the idea and forgo any potential income that might be earned from it.
  2. Giving it away and forgo any potential income that might be earned from it, and let the other person amass the income.
  3. Trying to find someone who might either buy your idea, or maybe help you to further explore the potential of your ‘baby’ and thus perhaps earn some cash from it.

If option 3 appeals to you, then  - ©DateIt  - may be of help.

Use  - ©DateIt  - in the usual manner to register and record your details.

Only supply enough information to interest other people, and try to keep back (keep secret) as much as you can to preserve your financial interest in your inventions.

Then post your request in the FORUM section for interested parties to contact you.
